Vanuatu Engineers Association (VEA) was re-established through a project run by Engineers Without Borders (EWBs) New Zealand. VEA is made up of professional local Engineers who are specialists in specific engineering fields. These Engineers have been in the industry for years and are capable of providing you with the best of the best information, guide and advise in engineering and potential career in the field of engineering.

The Vanuatu Engineers Association gathered for their first Annual General Meeting on Thursday the 25th of August to elect their new council. Congratulations VEA on achieving this significant milestone!!!

 The elected VEA Council is: 

President:  Johnson B Iauma , DG for Ministry of Infrastructure and Public Utilities. 

Vice President: Cyrille Minguy, Mainguy Consulting Engineer & Project management ( MCEPM)

Secretary: Bikenibeu Ieremiah, BI Consulting

Vice Secretary: Solip Nato, Mainguy Consulting Engineer & Project management ( MCEPM)

Treasurer: Larry Abel, Unelco

The VEA Chairman Mr. Johnson Binaru is calling on all local engineers to joint the VEA for the common good of Vanuatu.

VEA to Host the School Outreach Program Modules.

The VEA has understand the importance of encouraging the younger generations of Vanuatu to take up engineering as a future career. Therefore the VEA has work with EWBNZ with the school outreach program with the objectives of motivating more children to take up engineering as a career.

The VEA is working with the department of water resources to host come of their engineering contents online via this platform and also provide assistance to help DoWR engineers gain more training in the filed of water.
